Welcome to Conewago Flyfishers, the premier private fly fishing club in Southcentral PA, dedicated to the art and passion of fly

fishing.

The pictures are of the tranquil club waters and its many fish including Wild Brown Trout, Wild Rainbows and migrating Brookies. The fingerling Bow is indicative of the borne in stream wild Bows present in large numbers. As a result fish vary in size  with some 20 inch plus present. The private managed stream length is approximately 2 miles and is a freestone stream and the trout are wary and not always easy to catch. Insect Hatches are not always present and the water is often clear and low. The stream is managed with programmed appropriate feeding, as well as water level and temperature related temporary closures when needed; otherwise the stream is open year-round. This stream has been private since 1989 when our visionary founder Rob Bennett acquired the rights. This is a fly fishing only Catch & Release club. We are a small club with limited memberships available. The purpose of the club is to provide recreational flyfishing and related activities to its members, and undertake group activities to enhance and protect our section of Conewago Creek and its surrounding properties. We are located in the Gettysburg Area in Adams County, PA. If you are interested in applying for membership please email your name, phone number, home address, and email address with a short bio of your flyfishing experiences and reason for wanting to join our club to:
